Deleting Secrets: User-Friendly Configuration Guide

Hello! Welcome to the deleting secrets section in OmniQ. This allows you to remove a secret that you no longer need, like an old key. It's like throwing away a confidential paper that's no longer useful. You don't need to program to do it!

How to Delete a Secret​

  • Step 1: Open OmniQ and go to the "Secrets" screen. Click on "Secrets" in the left sidebar menu (with a white lock icon).
  • Step 2: Find the secret you want to delete in the list and click on the trash icon (a red "X") next to its name.

This will delete the secret immediately, if there are no errors.

What to Do After Deleting​

  • What they are: You delete a secret (like "do_token") so your bot won't use it anymore.
  • What they're for: Frees up space and keeps only necessary data.
  • How they're used: Check the updated list after deleting; the secret disappears.

Practical Example​

You want to delete an old key:

  1. In "Secrets", click the red "X" next to "do_token".
  2. If there are no errors, "do_token" disappears from the list.

Result: You no longer have "do_token" in your system, and your bot won't use it anymore.

Quick Tips​

  • Quick Deletion: Click on the "X" and it's deleted instantly.
  • Be Careful: There's no confirmation; review before deleting.
